How to use PayPal with BugHotel Reservation system??

The following description, will teach you how to create and integrate your PayPal account with BugHotel Reservation System! It will also explain you how you can test your account before you make it Live Working!

First of all, you need to create a PayPal account in https://developer.paypal.com/


After the account is created, you must login to your account in order to configure it and your application!


After you login, will appear you a welcome screen like the following


Click on profile

and you will redirected to the following page, where you should choose the option Instant Payment Notifications


In the following option you will configure your PayPal account with your BugHotel Reservation System details

After this, you must take note of your PayPal URL installed into the application! The url should be http://www.yourdomain.com/xmlserver/creditcardprocessing/paypal.php


Then you should insert this URL into your PayPal Instant Payment Notification Preferences





The configuration into the PayPal account is done, now let’s configure BugHotel Reservation System!

Login to your account at http://www.yourdomain.com/hotelier/ , and then choose Payment Options at Property Settings menu! Click on gateways tab to input your PayPal settings! The following screen will be displayed


Don’t forget to set the test mode to true, in order to you to test if the system is fully working! After you insert your details, click on update! And it’s ok! You can test the PayPal payment at your front


Complete the reservation as a normal payment

 

Please take in mind that once you finish the test, you must go the hotelier interface and set the test mode to false, in order to make your website ready to work with PayPal
