BugHotel Reservation System wasn't able to create/edit config.inc.php file. This can be happen for various reasons. Usually this only happens on Unix/Linux environments but it can happen on Windows. If you got this message while you where trying to setup BugHotel Reservation System you need to chmod 777 config.inc.php file

BugHotel Reservation System wasn't able to create/edit config.inc.php file. This can be happen for various reasons.

Usually this only happens on Unix/Linux environments but it can happen on Windows.

If you got this message while you where trying to setup BugHotel Reservation System do this:

1. Login to your server via FTP or SSH and rename the file config.inc.blank to config.inc
2. Once the file is renamed
   1. if you are using SSH issue the following command:
      • chmod 666 config.inc.php
      • Run Shopping Cart Builder Setup Wizard Again. The setup should work fine and continue.
   2. If you are using FTP client
      1. Look for a command on your ftp client that says change mode or chmod and check it to 0666
      2. In the image bellow we use FlashFXP FTP program to change the mode of config.inc.php to 0666

Using FlashFTP (Or other FTP Client Program) login via ftp to your server, locate the file config.inc.blank and rename it  to config.inc. After right click on the file config.inc.php and press ATTRIBUTES (Chmod) as shown bellow:

A new window is shown, from there check the checkboxes Read and Write from the Owner Group and Public boxes (As shown bellow). This is pretty much the same for every ftp client program.

Once this is done. Perform the setup wizard again and it should work fine.
