Availability Maintenance- Availability & Prices

Use this option to insert availability and rates for a specific room type, inital and final date.

All dates set in check in & check out are inclusive. What this means is that, for instance, if you put a Check In Date of 5 and a Check Out of 10, the customer will be able to book from 5 to 10. 10 is inclusive, meaning someone will be able to book for the night of 10 (10 to 11).

Now let's imagine you want to add 1 day availability, for example for August, you put Date from = 1 and Date to = 1 (As seen in image bellow):

In "Day of week pattern" you can register different prices for different weekdays you can use this to insert  a higher price in the weekends.

You can insert the prices in:

• daily basic
• weekly
• 3 weeks
•  monthly basic
• net price

Step by Step:

1. Select the room type (You must create the room types previously, the allotment that you can choose in this option will be the number that you insert when you create the rom type in the "# Rooms on Prop" field)
2. Insert the Date from (initial date)
3. Insert the Date to (final date)
4. In the "allotment" select the number of rooms of that type that you want to add rates/availability
5. In "Dayli Price" insert the prices for 1..12 persons
6. Click on submit

Then if you go to the front and select this room type and search for availability for the dates that you insert here you can perform a reservation.

If you want to delete this rates that you have inserted you just need to go to "Availability Rates" option, select the rate and click on delete. If you need to change the rates that you have inserted previously you go to "Availability Rates"  and clik in the list in the "dates" it will open the "Availability & Prices" option with the prices that you have previously inserted.

Rack rate is the full price of a hotel room, which the customer would pay if he or she walked into the hotel off the street and asked for a room. While lower than the maximum rate that the hotel may be allowed to charge under local laws, it is usually higher than the rate most travel agents can book for their customers.

Book lead time is the period of time (days) between the initiation of any booking process. Thus the lead time for making a new reservation can be anywhere from 0 days to 270 days. For example, if book lead time is set to 0 days, it means that a reservation can be done for today, if set to 1 day, it means you can't make a reservation for today, only for tomorrow.
